How to cook the perfect jọlọf rice

  1. Rinse and drain one packet of Gba Rice, leave in your Sieve and set aside.

  2. Weigh out 255 grams of Red Bell Peppers, 28 grams of Tomato Paste from the provided Member's Mark Tomato Paste, with your measured out 400 grams of Water and blend to make your Jọlọf Purée.

  3. Pour blended Jọlọf Purée into your pot, cover with Lid, and set at Medium High heat.

  4. Add a Sachet of Gba Jọlọf Seasoning with your measured out 70 grams of Vegetable Oil at the five minutes mark, stir in, cover, and let the sauce cook for another 5 minutes to make a total of 10 minutes.

  5. Pour your cooked Jọlọf Sauce into the provided Third Size Aluminum Steam Pan with 11-1/2 inches in length, 5-1/2 inches in width, and 2-13/16 inches in depth.

  6. Immerse your rinsed Rice evenly into the Sauce, cover your Steam Pan with the provided Lid and tighten its sides and edges.

  7. Place the Steam Pan in the middle section of your oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit or 200 degrees Celsius for 55 minutes.

  8. Stir your cooked Jọlọf Rice when it is done, serve and enjoy.
